What our members say? 🥋

Kieran – Swansea Bay Aikido Club member for 8 years

“Personally, the thing I enjoy the most about Aikido is the feeling of improvement. Like, we’ll practice a new technique for the first time, and I can just feel that I’m not doing it right. But after a while, we’ll have practiced it a few more times, and it’ll click, and suddenly I can do it, and I’ve always found that feeling of overcoming challenges to be really satisfying.”

Osian – Swansea Bay Aikido Club member for 12 years

“Every class at Swansea Bay Aikido resets my mind and builds real self‑defence confidence — teaching controlled aggression without ever slipping into unnecessary force”

Judith – Swansea Bay Aikido Club member for 7 years

“Aikido has many different benefits for me as a working mum. It not only helps me keep physically active but it also engages my brain, so after a really stressful day it helps me clear my mind. Even after doing it for seven years there are is still much for me to learn. All this has helped build my self confidence and make new friends along the way. I would fully recommend everyone gives it a go”

“The purpose of training is to tighten up the slack, toughen the body, and polish the spirit.” – Morihei Ueshiba (founder of Aikido)
